Hilarious. This girl is hilarious.

No joke doing this Volley Bubble project has introduced me to some of the freaking coolest people.

Spoiler alert, we faked the intro. Don’t know if you can tell, neither of us are good actors, but I had already arrived, chatted a bit, then acted like she didn’t know I was there. The magic of filmmaking has just been ruined for you. Sorry. But it makes for good behind the scenes bits and bobs. Or not.

Once we got inside for reals, Karis handed me the biggest pile of chocolate I’ve ever seen as a welcoming gift. She must know I’m a sucker for that milky goodness. But also, only an absolute legend would have a pet stuffed cupcake with its own travel instagram page. Fact.

So Karis went to Clemson, so I immediately grilled her about that purple and orange life, not that I even have a leg to stand on with orange and green at the U, but hey. Had to start somewhere. It also led to us finding out about another mutual friend, Beanie!

But beside the filming and podcasting and city exploring (with Cynthia), we also went out for dinner with her roommate Taylor and her boyfriend. And it was a full table of sarcasm for a few hours straight. Which I love, obviously. Because I’m British. And we are all about the sarcasm and self-deprecating jokes. Good times all around.

Oh, yea, there was some volleyball too.

This was a fun one! Karis and I laughed a lot in this episode. Maybe we are both awkward, silly and just don't take it all too seriously. We talk about our mutual love for audio books over real books, because as Karis puts it "I cant read more than a page without getting distracted by thinking about sandwiches."
